Leucism

I noticed a new term for white animals with normal colored eyes: leucism. Looking closer, leucism is actually more severe a lack of pigmentation then albino animals with most albino animals having a yellow hue due to a pigment not affected by the albinism genes. The cause of leucism is connected with the cell development in the fetal animal so the eyes are usually unaffected. Leucism can also only affect some parts of the body and result in what is termed "pied" or "piebald."
