smart villains

I vaugely remember this scene from "Charlotte's Web 2" but seeing it again reminded me of the thought I had about smart villains (108.2 IQ in Farley's case... but who's counting?)

Smart villains are more realistic and more of a cautionary tale much like the sage advice from Spiderman, with great power comes great responsibility (which Wiki says Voltare said in French centuries earlier). If you consider yourself to be smart, it ups your responsibilty to be wise as well. I get to like this Farley the fox from this little song of his making me wonder who really is the ba guy slightly. This helps make such villains more dimentional as characters because the audience can see the logic behind the evil actions and you can imagine doing the same thing if you were in that villain's shoes.
